We'd love to welcome you to a special information event at Ellergreen Community Centre for Foster Care Fortnight!
Foster Care Fortnight is an annual campaign to raise awareness of the transformational power of foster care and to celebrate the fostering community.
During the evening we'll be joined by new foster carer Steven, who started fostering with his wife Tina just one month ago! Steven chose to leave his corporate career to pursue a rewarding future fostering siblings.
It is definitely the most rewarding thing I have ever done, watching the children growing each and every day.

We'll also be joined by some of the fostering team who will support you on your journey to becoming a foster carer and beyond.
You'll hear all about about the application process, support, training and benefits of fostering for Liverpool City Council.
We need more local foster carers to care for children in their local communities, so they can stay close to everything they are already familiar with.
