Thursday 6th May from 6:00pm - 7:00pm
Our May webinar is all about siblings! Along with their three children, Tony and Debbie are foster carers to two siblings and a baby. Tony will be sharing their experiences at our webinar.
Learn all about fostering siblings, fostering as a family with your own children, and the support available when you foster with Liverpool.
Tony and his wife Debbie started fostering in 2017, when their own children were 9, 8 and 6. They currently look after two siblings and a baby.
Tony will be speaking about their experience of fostering siblings and the role of their own children.
“I remember making that first phone call and being really nervous and looking back now, it’s the best thing I’ve ever done for my family”
Phil and his family have been fostering for Liverpool City Council since 2010. Phil is also a fostering recruitment officer for Liverpool City Council Fostering Service and helps prospective foster carers on their journey to foster. His children were 5 and 7 when they became a foster family.
Phil will be speaking about the role of birth children in a fostering family at our May webinar.
"I think our birth kids know they've done some fantastic things in their lives. They've stepped in as a family for kids who don't have one"
