Liverpool children’s Christmas party

Liverpool Children's Christmas Party

On the 28th November, around 600 Liverpool children and young people and their foster carers attended the impressive St George’s Hall for an evening of festive fun!

It was a magical night to remember with lots of dancing, party games, popular character mascots, soft play and sensory areas, face painting, party food and a special guest appearance from Santa himself!

A craft table was kindly run by young advisers from Liverpool Safeguarding Children’s Board, who helped the children make Christmas cards to take away with them.

The evening was a great opportunity recognise and thank our Liverpool foster carers and bring everyone together, so the children could enjoy spending time together; making new friends and lasting memories.

Special thanks to everyone who was involved with organising and contributing to the event including the Fostering Team, Children in Care Council, young advisers from Liverpool Safeguarding Children Board, Culture Liverpool for the generous ‘Giants’ goody bags and t-shirts and to all the Liverpool Council staff who donated towards raffle prizes.

Everyone got into the spirit of the night and rolled up their sleeves to ensure our young people and foster carers got a night that they truly deserve.
