Foster4 Roadshow Rolls into Liverpool
- Fostering Stories

This October, Liverpool residents are invited to discover how they could make a life-changing difference to children in care, as the Foster4 Roadshow arrives in the city centre.
Foster4 is a regional partnership between nine Local Authorities, including Liverpool, working together to recruit and support foster carers across Cheshire and Merseyside. With over 5,000 children currently in care across the nine Local Authorities and only 1,200 approved foster carers available, there’s an urgent need for more people in Liverpool to come forward.
Visit the Foster4 Bus in Liverpool
The Foster4 Roadshow will be in Liverpool City Centre on Sunday12th October, from 10am to 5pm, on Church Street near Primark. The event takes place on board a specially converted double-decker bus, featuring video stories from foster carers and staffed by the friendly Foster4 team. Visitors can drop by to ask questions, learn about the fostering process, and hear about the support available from Liverpool City Council.
Liverpool Needs All Types of Foster Carers
Liverpool is looking for foster carers from all backgrounds to support children and sibling groups of all ages – from babies to teenagers. Whether you can offer full-time care, weekend support, or be available for emergency placements, there’s a role for you.
Some children need short-term care, others long-term stability. Some arrive in crisis and need a safe place immediately. And many need carers who can help siblings stay together.
If you’re 21 or over, have a spare room, and the time and compassion to support a child, you could make a real difference. Liverpool City Council offers individual support, training, and financial allowances to help foster carers provide the best care possible.
Come Along – No Pressure, Just Information
If you’ve ever thought about fostering, or just want to learn more, the Foster4 Roadshow is a great chance to explore your options in a relaxed and welcoming environment. There’s no pressure to sign up – just come along, have a chat, and find out how fostering could fit into your life.
