Dylan is an 8-year-old boy who enjoys being outdoors, riding his bike, playing football and spending time with his family and friends. Although he can be quiet at first, once he feels comfortable his caring nature, sense of humour and big personality begin to shine through.

Dylan has made excellent progress in his current residential home and it now ready to move on to a forever home in foster care. He has developed important life skills, learned new ways to talk about his feelings and built positive relationships with adults and other children. He enjoys helping around the home and takes pride in contributing to daily routines.

Dylan can sometimes struggle with managing big emotions and benefits from calm, patient adults who help him feel safe and understood. He is working hard in therapy and continues to make positive progress with both emotional regulation and personal care routines.

Dylan needs a therapeutic foster family who can provide consistency, understanding and lots of encouragement. In return, they will get to know a thoughtful, resilient young boy who has worked hard to overcome challenges and who deserves a loving, stable home where he can continue to grow and thrive.
