Jacob is a bright, active 6‑year‑old who loves imaginative play, especially fireman rescue games, drawing, singing and dancing. He enjoys being outdoors, exploring playgrounds and anything involving cars, buses, trains, lifts or escalators. Jacob is very affectionate and likes including others in his play.

Jacob enjoys school and has excellent attendance, supported by engaging staff and familiar routines. He especially loves visiting the school chef and using the lifts.  Jacob communicates well and responds best to short, simple sentences and visual supports. He thrives on clear routines and boundaries, which help him feel safe and settled. When things change unexpectedly, he may need reassurance or some quiet time. He has sensory needs and benefits from having his own space.

Jacob has regular contact with his mum and his aunt, which is important to help him maintain a positive sense of identity. He is a joyful, enthusiastic and sometimes cheeky boy who brings a lot of fun, warmth and sunshine to those around him.
